Today is a holiday, and it’s time to pause and take a break.
(At least today is a holiday for me, and other Americans, since today is Thanksgiving Day. If today isn’t a holiday for you — or if you’re particpating in something like the National Day of Mourning or Unthanksgiving Day — naturally, you’re still invited to partake in a quick break and moments enjoying and appreciating time with others; no holiday designation required.)
For most Americans, today is centered around, among other things, thankfulness, friends and family, larger than average meals, a break from the norm, and a time filled with numerous traditions and many shared cultural experiences.
As such, instead of reading a blog post, go enjoy these precious moments, be thankful for what is, be fully in your life, and enjoy it.
It’s Thanksgiving Day in the US. It’s time for a break, and to enjoy the company of others. Have fun.
