How do you take a tough situation — like dealing with debilitating pain — and make it worse?
The journey of life…
As we walk it’s winding path, we venture to a great many places, live magnificent experiences, face incredible challenges, confront countless lessons, and encounter limitless opportunities.
For the past month or so, I’ve literally — though not figuratively — been taking this journey and facing these things lying down.
The days go by, no time to breathe
Smack the alarm.
Go, go, go.
Toss and turn.
Mindfulness and meditation are, among other things, about awareness, peace, and being in the moment.
Cultivating mindfulness and practicing meditation help us uncover a deeper sense of happiness and fulfillment as we walk our path.
Yet, for many of us, meditation often appears daunting, demanding, or alien in some way.
Today is a lovely, spring day in Seattle, and the energy of life is all around.
Regardless of where you are right now, getting in touch with that energy and life itself does wonders.
As such, it’s time for a break to refresh, rejuvenate, and to recenter.
