Meditation, mindfulness, changing our perspective, living in the moment, enjoying life unplanned, acceptance — particularly of stumbles — and BigSkyRise overall are really about the broader concept of being.
Being helps us get the most out of the life and moments we have.
With being, we live in each moment, we fully experience it, and we have the space in our mind to interact with life consciously and in the manner we wish.
Of course, for many of us it can be a challenge which requires dedicated practice to really “be” in the moment much of the time. (Helping with this is one of the reasons BigSkyRise exists.)
As such, today’s mini-post is here for two reasons:
- Offer a reminder to come back to the present and be in the life you’re living now.
- To illustrate that each of us — even people that others think have it all put together — have wishes, face hurdles, and often want to be a greater part of our own lives.
To that end, this five minute clip of Bill Murray with Charlie Rose is one worth watching.
There are helpful insights and reminders that apply to us all, and there are also some subtextual lessons as well.
This is a friendly reminder to remind yourself to be in the moments of your life; they are fleeting and few, and each one holds something special.
Actions to take:
- Be in the moment as much as possible.
- Find a practice that fits you and that will help you live more in every moment.
